Ashley Galsky, Ph.D

OUHSC Assistant Professor

Ashley P. Galsky, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist on faculty at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC). She received her doctoral degree from Louisiana State University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at OUHSC as a Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA-Track) intern with an emphasis in Integrated Behavioral Health for Underserved Populations. Following her internship training year, Dr. Galsky completed a two-year, child maltreatment postdoctoral residency at OUHSC’s Center on Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN).

Dr. Galsky is a nationally certified therapist and supervisor in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers. She was also accepted to the 2025 Train-the-Trainer cohort to become certified as a National TF-CBT Trainer.

In addition, Dr. Galsky is a National Trainer through the National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth (NCSBY) in the Problematic Sexual Behavior – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adolescents model (PSB-CBT-A), in which she provides training and consultation across the U.S. and serves as a lead therapist on the PSB-CBT-A team.

Dr. Galsky is a certified therapist in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment for young children with disruptive behavior problems, and a within-agency trainer in a skills-based model for managing secondary traumatic stress, Components for Enhancing Career Experience and Reducing Trauma (CE-CERT). As she is bilingual, Dr. Galsky maintains a caseload of Latinx families across treatment modalities. She has worked to increase access for these families by developing linguistically and culturally congruent materials for use throughout treatment.
