Daniela Flores, M.Ed.
Child Development Counselor
Daniela Flores, M.Ed., is a licensed professional counselor with the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health in Oklahoma City.
Daniela received her Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Studies from Oklahoma City University. Her clinical experiences include evidence-based interventions for children with disruptive behavior disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder and other trauma-related disorders, children with problematic sexual behavior, and assessment of children prenatally exposed to drugs and alcohol. She provides evidence-based clinical services for children and families through the Child Trauma Services Program and the Family TREE, a multidisciplinary team serving foster children in the state of Oklahoma.
Ms. Flores is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for child and adolescents impacted by trauma and their caregivers; Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment for young children with disruptive behaviors. Most recently, she completed training and consultation in Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT), an evidence-based treatment for families navigating conflictual, coercive, or aggressive relationships.
