DESCRIPTION:Please note\, registration for the Introduction to TF-CBT Train

 r 3\, 2026 8:30-12:00 pm CST.\nTraining Description:\nTrauma-Focused Cogni
 tive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a short-term\, evidence-based treatmen
 t for children\, ages 3 to 18\, who have experienced trauma and their care
 givers. This components-based psychotherapy model incorporates trauma-sens
 itive interventions with cognitive-behavioral\, family and humanistic prin
 ciples. TF-CBT is empirically supported for use with youth impacted by tra
 uma and co-occurring mental health problems. It is designated as a Model P
 rogram by SAMHSA and the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and has r
 eceived the highest scientific rating as a Well-Supported Effective Practi
 ce by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare.\nThe 
 Introductory TF-CBT&nbsp\; training provides therapists with a comprehensi
 ve understanding of TF-CBT as well as hands-on practice opportunities. The
  training is designed to meet the introductory training requirements for t
 he National TF-CBT Therapist Certification Program. Introductory trainings
  are limited to 30 participants to support a personalized learning experie
 nce. 12 CEUs are awarded for training participation. This training is offe
 red in conjunction with consultation. Registration for training also requi
 res participating in consultation. Consultation is key in learning any new
  treatment model\, as it provides case specific feedback and ideas from ex
 perts in the treatment. Consultation is provided through a series of 14 co
 nference calls with approximately 8 participants on the call.\n\nTraining 
 Prerequisites:\nThe following items must be completed prior to attending t
 he training.\n\n\n 	\n\n 	\n\n 	Master’s level therapist or higher\n 	TF
 -CBT Web Training: TF-CBT Web Course&nbsp\; ($35-Must be completed before 
 attending training. Submit completion certificate to OKTF-CBT@ouhsc.edu&nb
 sp\;\n 	View the Child and Adolescent Trauma Screen (CATS) webinar and com
 plete the survey.\n\n 	\n\n 	&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n 	\n&nbsp\; &nbsp\; Location
 :\n\n\n 	This training will be held via Zoom\n 	Participants must attend e
 ach morning.\n 	Each participant is required to join on an individual comp
 uter equipped with a microphone and webcam.\n 	Our team is working hard to
  ensure that sessions are interactive between trainers and participants\, 
 so we will be asking participants to join discussions and interactive acti
 vities.\n\n\n\n\n\nCost:\nThe cost for participation in training and consu
 ltation is $800. This cost includes all days of the training\, training ma
 terials and 7 months of consultation with a Nationally Trained TF-CBT Cons
 ultant. &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\;\nTraining is offered at no
  cost for therapists working for the agencies contracting with the DMH (De
 partment of Mental Health) on select child trauma services contracts.\n\nC
 onsultation Requirements:\nWhen you register for this training you are com
 mitting to participation in the consultation meetings following the traini
 ng. Consultation completion is a requirement in order to be certification 
 eligible. You will be required to attend a minimum of 9 consultation meeti
 ngs with a TF-CBT National Consultant. During these bi-weekly meetings you
  will staff your identified TF-CBT cases with the consultant. Please only 
 register for this training if you are prepared to participate in consultat
 ion. You will receive additional information for time &amp\; dates of thes
