DESCRIPTION:This event is full and registration has closed.\nPlease note\, 
 registration for the Introduction to TF-CBT Training also includes registr
 ation in the CE-CERT Overview Training on December 4\, 2025 8:30-12:00 pm 
 CST.\nTraining Description:\nTrauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (
 TF-CBT) is a short-term\, evidence-based treatment for children\, ages 3 t
 o 18\, who have experienced trauma and their caregivers. This components-b
 ased psychotherapy model incorporates trauma-sensitive interventions with 
 cognitive-behavioral\, family and humanistic principles. TF-CBT is empiric
 ally supported for use with youth impacted by trauma and co-occurring ment
 al health problems. It is designated as a Model Program by SAMHSA and the 
 National Child Traumatic Stress Network and has received the highest scien
 tific rating as a Well-Supported Effective Practice by the California Evid
 ence-Based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare.\nThe Introductory TF-CBT  tra
 ining provides therapists with a comprehensive understanding of TF-CBT as 
 well as hands-on practice opportunities. The training is designed to meet 
 the introductory training requirements for the National TF-CBT Therapist C
 ertification Program. Introductory trainings are limited to 30 participant
 s to support a personalized learning experience. 12 CEUs are awarded for t
 raining participation. This training is offered in conjunction with consul
 tation. Registration for training also requires participating in consultat
 ion. Consultation is key in learning any new treatment model\, as it provi
 des case specific feedback and ideas from experts in the treatment. Consul
 tation is provided through a series of 14 conference calls with approximat
 ely 8 participants on the call.\n\nTraining Prerequisites:\nThe following 
 items must be completed prior to attending the training.\n\n\n 	\n\n 	\n\n
  	Master’s level therapist or higher\n 	TF-CBT Web Training: TF-CBT Web 
 Course  ($35-Must be completed before attending training. Submit completi
 on certificate to OKTF-CBT@ouhsc.edu \n 	View the Child and Adolescent Tr
 auma Screen (CATS) webinar and complete the survey.\n\n 	\n\n 	\n\n\n\n\n 
 	\n    Location:\n\n\n 	This training will be held via Zoom\n 	Participa
 nts must attend each morning.\n 	Each participant is required to join on a
 n individual computer equipped with a microphone and webcam.\n 	Our team i
 s working hard to ensure that sessions are interactive between trainers an
 d participants\, so we will be asking participants to join discussions and
  interactive activities.\n\n\n\n\n\nCost:\nThe cost for participation in t
 raining and consultation is $800. This cost includes all days of the train
 ing\, training materials and 7 months of consultation with a Nationally Tr
 ained TF-CBT Consultant.          \nTraining is offered at no cost fo
 r therapists working for the agencies contracting with the DMH (Department
  of Mental Health) on select child trauma services contracts.\n\nConsultat
 ion Requirements:\nWhen you register for this training you are committing 
 to participation in the consultation meetings following the training. Cons
 ultation completion is a requirement in order to be certification eligible
 . You will be required to attend a minimum of 9 consultation meetings with
  a TF-CBT National Consultant. During these bi-weekly meetings you will st
 aff your identified TF-CBT cases with the consultant. Please only register
  for this training if you are prepared to participate in consultation. You
  will receive additional information for time &amp\; dates of these meetin
