SUMMARY:In Person - Introduction to Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Thera
 py (TF-CBT) Training
DESCRIPTION:Please note\, registration for the Introduction to TF-CBT Train
 ing also includes registration in the CE-CERT Overview Training on August 
 6\, 2026 8:30-12:00 pm CST. This portion of the training will be held via 
 Zoom. The second portion will take place in-person. Registration is locate
 d at the bottom of this page for both trainings.\nTraining Description:\nT
 rauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a short-term\, evid
 ence-based treatment for children\, ages 3 to 18\, who have experienced tr
 auma and their caregivers. This components-based psychotherapy model incor
 porates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive-behavioral\, family 
 and humanistic principles. TF-CBT is empirically supported for use with yo
 uth impacted by trauma and co-occurring mental health problems. It is desi
 gnated as a Model Program by SAMHSA and the National Child Traumatic Stres
 s Network and has received the highest scientific rating as a Well-Support
 ed Effective Practice by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for C
 hild Welfare.\nThe Introductory TF-CBT&nbsp\; training provides therapists
  with a comprehensive understanding of TF-CBT as well as hands-on practice
  opportunities. The training is designed to meet the introductory training
  requirements for the National TF-CBT Therapist Certification Program. Int
 roductory trainings are limited to 30 participants to support a personaliz
 ed learning experience. 12 CEUs are awarded for training participation. Th
 is training is offered in conjunction with consultation. Registration for 
 training also requires participating in consultation. Consultation is key 
 in learning any new treatment model\, as it provides case specific feedbac
 k and ideas from experts in the treatment. Consultation is provided throug
 h a series of 14 conference calls with approximately 10 participants on th
 e call.\n\nTraining Prerequisites:\nThe following items must be completed 
 prior to attending the training.\n\n\n 	\n\n 	\n\n 	Master’s level thera
 pist or higher\n 	TF-CBT Web Training: TF-CBT Web Course&nbsp\; ($35-Must 
 be completed before attending training. Submit completion certificate to O

  and consultation is $800. Training is offered at no cost for therapists w
 orking for Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) with the 
 Oklahoma Department of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)&nb

 udes all days of training\, training materials and 7 months of consultatio
 n with a nationally trained TF-CBT Consultant. &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; \n\
 nConsultation Requirements:\nWhen you register for this training you are c
 ommitting to participation in the consultation meetings following the trai
 ning. Consultation completion is a requirement in order to be certificatio
 n eligible. You will be required to attend a minimum of 9 consultation mee
 tings with a TF-CBT National Consultant. During these bi-weekly meetings y
 ou will staff your identified TF-CBT cases with the consultant. Please onl
