 TF-CBT) Training

 ning also includes registration in the CE-CERT Overview Training on May 14
 \, 2026 8:30-12:00 pm CST. This portion of the training will be held via Z
 oom. The second portion will take place in-person. Registration is located
  at the bottom of this page for both trainings.\nTraining Description:\nTr
 auma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a short-term\, evide
 nce-based treatment for children\, ages 3 to 18\, who have experienced tra
 uma and their caregivers. This components-based psychotherapy model incorp
 orates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive-behavioral\, family a
 nd humanistic principles. TF-CBT is empirically supported for use with you
 th impacted by trauma and co-occurring mental health problems. It is desig
 nated as a Model Program by SAMHSA and the National Child Traumatic Stress
  Network and has received the highest scientific rating as a Well-Supporte
 d Effective Practice by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for Ch
 ild Welfare.\nThe Introductory TF-CBT  training provides therapists with 
 a comprehensive understanding of TF-CBT as well as hands-on practice oppor
 tunities. The training is designed to meet the introductory training requi
 rements for the National TF-CBT Therapist Certification Program. Introduct
 ory trainings are limited to 30 participants to support a personalized lea
 rning experience. 12 CEUs are awarded for training participation. This tra
 ining is offered in conjunction with consultation. Registration for traini
 ng also requires participating in consultation. Consultation is key in lea
 rning any new treatment model\, as it provides case specific feedback and 
 ideas from experts in the treatment. Consultation is provided through a se
 ries of 14 conference calls with approximately 10 participants on the call
 .\n\nTraining Prerequisites:\nThe following items must be completed prior 
 to attending the training.\n\n\n 	\n\n 	\n\n 	Master’s level therapist o
 r higher\n 	TF-CBT Web Training: TF-CBT Web Course  ($35-Must be complete
 d before attending training. Submit completion certificate to OKTF-CBT@ouh

        Cost:\nThe cost for participation in training and consultation 
 is $800. Training is offered at no cost for therapists working for Certifi
 ed Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) with the Oklahoma Departmen
 t of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)  Click here to view

 ng\, training materials and 7 months of consultation with a nationally tra
 ined TF-CBT Consultant.       \n\nConsultation Requirements:\nWhen you 
 register for this training you are committing to participation in the cons
 ultation meetings following the training. Consultation completion is a req
 uirement in order to be certification eligible. You will be required to at
 tend a minimum of 9 consultation meetings with a TF-CBT National Consultan
 t. During these bi-weekly meetings you will staff your identified TF-CBT c
 ases with the consultant. Please only register for this training if you ar
 e prepared to participate in consultation. You will receive additional inf
 ormation for time &amp\; dates of these meetings during the training. \n\
 nContinuing Education:\nThis training has been approved for 12 CEU credits
  with the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health &amp\; the Oklahoma St
