SUMMARY:In Person - Introduction to Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Thera
 py (TF-CBT) Training
DESCRIPTION:Please note\, registration for the Introduction to TF-CBT Train
 ing also includes registration in the CE-CERT Overview Training on October
  8\, 2026 8:30-12:00 pm CST. This portion of the training will be held via
  Zoom. The second portion will take place in-person. Registration is locat
 ed at the bottom of this page for both trainings.\nTraining Description:\n
 Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is a short-term\, evi
 dence-based treatment for children\, ages 3 to 18\, who have experienced t
 rauma and their caregivers. This components-based psychotherapy model inco
 rporates trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive-behavioral\, family
  and humanistic principles. TF-CBT is empirically supported for use with y
 outh impacted by trauma and co-occurring mental health problems. It is des
 ignated as a Model Program by SAMHSA and the National Child Traumatic Stre
 ss Network and has received the highest scientific rating as a Well-Suppor
 ted Effective Practice by the California Evidence-Based Clearinghouse for 
 Child Welfare.\nThe Introductory TF-CBT&nbsp\; training provides therapist
 s with a comprehensive understanding of TF-CBT as well as hands-on practic
 e opportunities. The training is designed to meet the introductory trainin
 g requirements for the National TF-CBT Therapist Certification Program. In
 troductory trainings are limited to 30 participants to support a personali
 zed learning experience. 12 CEUs are awarded for training participation. T
 his training is offered in conjunction with consultation. Registration for
  training also requires participating in consultation. Consultation is key
  in learning any new treatment model\, as it provides case specific feedba
 ck and ideas from experts in the treatment. Consultation is provided throu
 gh a series of 14 conference calls with approximately 10 participants on t
 he call.\n\nTraining Prerequisites:\nThe following items must be completed

 on is $800. Training is offered at no cost for therapists working for Cert
 ified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) with the Oklahoma Depart
 ment of Mental Health Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS)&nbsp\; Click here

 f training\, training materials and 7 months of consultation with a nation
 ally trained TF-CBT Consultant. &nbsp\; &nbsp\; &nbsp\; \n\nConsultation R
 equirements:\nWhen you register for this training you are committing to pa
 rticipation in the consultation meetings following the training. Consultat
 ion completion is a requirement in order to be certification eligible. You
  will be required to attend a minimum of 9 consultation meetings with a TF
 -CBT National Consultant. During these bi-weekly meetings you will staff y
 our identified TF-CBT cases with the consultant. Please only register for 
 this training if you are prepared to participate in consultation. You will
  receive additional information for time &amp\; dates of these meetings du
 ring the training.&nbsp\;\n\nContinuing Education:\nThis training has been
  approved for 12 CEU credits with the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral H
